Boys Tennis

The Boys Tennis team won Monday, carried by Kyle Brown and Nicky Gatto for a 5-2 win over Panas. Anderson Rench, Preston Goodale, Tristan Wong, and Francisco Aguirre-Ghiso all won their matches. The boys won again on Tuesday with a 6-1 win over Lakeland, a team that previously beat them. Prestin Goodale and Anderson Rench won their singles matches, while David Gougelmann & Jack Grogan, Francisco Aguirre-Ghiso & Tristan Wong, and Kyle Brown & Bixby Piccolo-Hill all won straight sets of doubles matches. Thomas Gatto also had a good day winning singles matches. The JV boys pulled through against Yorktown last Friday. Daniel Goldman and Luke Conticello both won their singles matches; Simon Eichenholtz & Walker Piccolo-Hill won their doubles match. The JV team finished their season strong with these wins–congrats!

 

Track & Field

On Wednesday, The Loucks Games were hosted in White Plains, where Anabel Delgado finished in 4th for the Freshman Shot Put, and Brandon Sumpter placed in the Discus. The Rasbeck Relays were hosted by Irvington this past Saturday. Both the girls and boys teams won the Class B division.

Softball

Friday brought a killer win for Varsity Softball, 17-2 against Peekskill. Lexi Schaffer, Emma Johannsen and Giovanna Alphonse all racked up hits upon hits and RBIs. Valerie Stratton was the winning pitcher of the game.

 

Baseball

Baseball’s season came to an end this weekend with a tough loss, 3-0 against Brewster. Congratulations to Michael Gagliardi, Connor Harbolic, Alec Tangredi, PJ Kochek, and Michael Tucci on their final season at Hen Hud!

 

This Week’s Games: 

Monday, May 15 – Sunday, May 21

Monday starts off with Varsity Baseball playing a Section Tournament away at Panas, starting at 4:30. JV Softball also plays away at 4:30, with a game against John Jay Cross River.

Tuesday keeps it going with Unified Basketball hosting a game against Ossining at 4:15. 4:30 brings a Varsity Boys Lacrosse game against Lakeland/Panas.

On Thursday, Varsity Track & Field has an Invitational away at Somers High School. Unified Basketball has another game this week, away at Horace Greeley at 4:30.

Saturday sees another Invitational for Varsity Track & Field, away at John Jay High School starting at 2 pm.
