Monday, April 17 – Sunday, April 23

Last week on Friday and Saturday, Hen Hud Varsity Baseball won the Briarcliff tournament. Hen Hud scored 5 runs against Horace Greeley’s 2 the first day. On day two of the tournament, we scored 5 runs in a shutout against Briarcliff to win the championship. Junior Max Lipton, pitcher, was named the Tournament MVP, while Michael Tucci and Michael Gagliardi were both named to the All Tournament team.

Saturday also showcased wins for the Track & Field team at the Mount Relays meet at Mount Saint Michael Academy. Morgan Davis won in two of her events, high jump and long jump (for which she set a personal record). Izzy Andrade also won in his event, javelin. Rhylee Adviento, Raine Parker, Sasha Villeda, and Ava Schembari all placed first in their events for the 4x800m relay.

This Week’s Games:

Monday, April 24 – Sunday, April 30

Monday starts off with a chunk of games. To start, Golf is playing Lakeland/Panas at Hollow Brook Golf Club. Varsity and JV Girls Lacrosse are set to play non-league home games against Horace Greeley. JV is at 4:30, Varsity is at 6:00. Varsity and JV Softball play at Nanuet at 4:45– JV is a non-league game. Tennis has matches against Yorktown at 4:15– Varsity is away, JV is home. Track & Field is traveling to Edgemont to day 1 of their League Championship Meet. JV Baseball plays Lakeland, home at Sunset Park at 5.

On Tuesday, Track & Field hosts day 2 of the League Championship Meet at 4:30. JV Baseball plays away at Lakeland High at 4:15, with Varsity following at 6:45. JV Softball plays Lakeland as well, but at 5 at FGL. Golf is set to play Haldane.

Wednesday sees Varsity Baseball and Softball playing Lakeland. Baseball is home at 4:30, Softball is away at 4:45. Golf plays at Hollow Brook for the second time this week, this time against Ossining at 4:15. Varsity Tennis will also play Ossining at home at 4:15. Varsity Boys Lacrosse has their first game of the week at Brewster at 5.

On Thursday, JV Tennis plays away at John Jay Cross River at 4:15. Varsity Baseball is also away at John Jay, playing at 4:30. Varsity Girls Lacrosse plays away at Lakeland at Yorktown at 4:30 as well. JV Girls Lacrosse follows at 6:00.

Friday sees many Hen Hud games. First, JV Baseball plays John Jay Cross River at 4:30, home at Sunset Park. JV Softball plays away against Walter Panas at 4:30. Varsity Boys Tennis plays away at Sleepy Hollow’s Pierson Park at 4:30. Unified Basketball has a Varsity game away at John Jay Cross River.

Saturday sees Varsity Softball’s tournament, with their first game starting at 11 am against Walter Panas. All games at this tournament are home at Sprout Brook Park. Varsity Baseball has a non-league home game at Sunset Park against Nyack at noon. Boys Varsity Lacrosse also plays a non-league game: away at Byram Hills at 12:30. JV Girls Lacrosse plays away at Mahopac at 5:30. Varsity Girls Lacrosse follows at 7pm.
