This Strawberry cobbler has a cake-like texture and the perfect amount of strawberry taste. The best way to eat this is while warm and topped with vanilla ice cream.
Ingredients:
- 2 ¼ cup of fresh chopped strawberries
- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- 3 Tbsp of melted butter
- 9 Tbsp of granulated sugar (1 Tbsp for strawberries)
- 1 ½ teaspoon of baking powder
- 3 pinches of salt
- ¾ cup of milk
- ¾ teaspoon of vanilla extract
- vanilla ice cream and/or whipped cream (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Lightly spray small pie pan or baking pan with nonstick cooking spray (or lightly butter)
- Spoon chopped strawberries into the pie pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined. Stir in milk and vanilla extract until just combined. Spoon over top of strawberries.
- Bake cobbler at 375 degrees for about 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Cool slightly then top with ice cream or whipped cream.
